Sword and Shield

This project features a detailed 3D model of a sword and shield, plus some other props like the barrel, display stand and the cloth, all created using Blender. The goal was to design a balanced and realistic medieval-style weapon set.

Process:
Modeling: The base mesh was created using Blender’s hard surface modeling tools, with a focus on clean topology.
Sword Texturing: Added fine details like scratches and engravings through layers of different textures to help give more realism to the sword
Shield Texturing: Used Blender’s shader nodes to create metal, wood, and leather textures with realistic wear and tear.
Rendering: Final renders were done in Blender’s Cycles for high-quality lighting and materials.

This project was a great exercise in refining both technical skills and artistic design.
